PROJECTS THAT SHINE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN
SHINE began with a simple goal: to help others feel clean, confident, and cared for.
What started with a few donated hygiene items has
grown into something truly powerful thanks to the generosity of our community
and the heart behind this mission.
Since launching, SHINE has been honored to:
• Support schools in need across Illinois through the SHINE CUBBY PROGRAM
• Send hygiene relief to hurricane victims in the South and wildfire survivors
• Provide supplies to veterans, individuals facing mental illness, and youth without access to hygiene
• Donate to food banks, women’s shelters, crisis nurseries, and transitional homes
• Adopt 20 families at Christmas, delivering not just hygiene kits but holiday gifts for every family member
SHINE has also partnered with local businesses by setting up hygiene donation boxes in their storefronts and encouraging them to share the mission online. We’ve taken the stage at festivals, attended vendor markets, and inspired others as a guest speaker at women’s conferences.
With the ongoing support of amazing partners like NuSkin, Delta Dental, and local dentists, SHINE continues to grow and expand its impact.
I am also thrilled to announce the launch of a children’s book on hygiene, coming soon to Amazon created to help teach kids that hygiene is self-care, and self-care is for everyone.

As part of the mission, SHINE actively participates in community outreach to provide educational information focused on personal hygiene, health, and wellness empowering individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to lead healthier lives.
Whether it’s speaking at local events or partnering with organizations to distribute materials, our outreach efforts continue to grow.
(This work is rooted in the same heart that began it all one teen, a few donated hygiene items, and the desire to help people feel confident and cared for. Today, SHINE’s outreach spans from schools in Illinois to disaster-stricken areas and underserved communities nationwide.)
